World Book Day
History- Year 3 have been learning how the Roman Army were so successful. We learnt about two formations - Wedge and Testudo. We had lots of fun practicing these formations and even learnt some Latin commands!
Music - We have been learning about Pentatonic scales that are used in Chinese New Year Celebration music. We have used the 5 notes of the scale to compose our own melodies.
Persuasive Speeches - We wrote speeches in the role of Mr Fox. We had to justify our stealing to a court and persuade the jury not to give a punishment.
Volcano Homework
Year 3 have been learning about the human skeleton in Science. We had fun trying to create our own skeleton out of the different bones found in the body. When we looked at the answers, we found we had done rather well!
