Homework

Reading:

The children will be given a book each week that they should read at least three times. Please record this in their orange reading record so we know they have read; please note the book will not be changed if they have not read it three times. The books are carefully matched to their phonological awareness and should only contain sounds that they can read, making the book fully decodable. 

Letter Formation:

In the third week of term the children will be given a pack of letter formation worksheets. The children should complete one sheet per week and hand them into school in their purple homework folder for the teacher to check. Please ensure the children use a pencil, not a pen to complete the sheet and encourage them to form the letters correctly using the tripod pencil grip. I have uploaded the sheets below should you require extras.
