In January, we had the privilege of participating in Young Voices. We got a coach to the O2 London and performed a variety of songs with around 7 thousand other children! We had such a brilliant experience and we hope to do it again next year.

In ICT we are learning how to code! In this lesson, we learnt how to input code in a variety of ways and also learnt how to 'debug' existing codes.

In our science States of Matter topic, we explored whether you can weigh a gas. Most of us predicted that gas weighs nothing, however, after weighing carbon dioxide in fizzy drinks we concluded that gas can indeed be weighed. We found that Sprite had the most carbon dioxide within it. Which do you think had the least?

In DT we have learnt how to design, create and evaluate book jackets! We learnt different ways of sewing together the jackets and carefully chose a fastener to match our design. We used either buttons, velcro or press studs to fasten our book jackets and ensure our books are kept safe!

Our P.E. topic this term has been yoga. We have been learning a variety of different poses and flows to strengthen our body and mind. Each week we feel a difference in our strength and ability to focus. We also really enjoy the meditation and feel much calmer within ourselves following the lesson!

In science we are studying animals. We have learnt about the different animal groups and the difference between vertebrates and invertebrates. We then went on an invertebrate hunt to identify creatures in the different groups.

In history we are learning about children's lives in the past. We had a go at ordering sources on a timeline looking carefully at their details.
