Local Support Services During School Closure

Educational Psychology Service 

 

The EP Contact Line (01992 588574) is now running DAILY from 2-4.30 and is open to everyone, including parents. 

You can also find updates from the EPS on their Twitter page, @HertsEPS and use that as a way to stay connected with the service and get signposted to online resources.

The EPs we will be prioritising the completion of EHCPs and doing consultations via the phone. 

 

 

DSPL3 Outreach Team

 

The DSPL3 Outreach Team is a support service for parents of children with SEND in the local area. They are offering telephone and email support to help you through this uncertain time. They can be a listening ear and provide you with resources via email that will support your child in understanding what is going on and the structure they may need whilst school is closed.

Specialist Advisory Teachers 

 

To support children with communication and autism needs and their families during this unsettled period, the Specialist Advisory Teachers will be extending the hours of our telephone advice line from Monday 23rd March until the schools reopen.

It will be open daily between 10am and 2pm (term time) to provide advice and guidance for parents and carers. If you wish to speak to a Specialist Advisory Teacher please call 01442 453920 during these times.
