Computing - Purple Mash
Purple Mash supports Year 6 online safety through the following content coverage:
- Password safety, personal data sharing, secure site recognition

- Privacy, digital footprints and safe sharing behaviour
- Upsetting messages, screenshot evidence, “report” tools, talking to trusted adults
- Blogging safely
 
PSHE - Coram Life: SCARF
SCARF is Coram’s holistic, value-driven PSHE scheme which we use to teach e-Safety. For Year 6,  online safety concepts are woven into the units “Keeping Myself Safe” and “Growing and Changing”
Topics include:
- How to keep personal information private online 
- Recognising what makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable digitally 
- Understanding who to turn to when encountering risky or harmful content 
- Explain safe/unsafe secrets (e.g. passwords, online sharing) 
- Identify strategies to manage online risks (e.g. saying no, reporting) 
- Know where to get help if distressed by online content
