School Dog

Say, "Hello" to Rusty, the school dog. Rusty is a puppy Cockerpoo and he has been coming in to school with the Headteacher since he was a baby. He will turn two years old at Christmas 2022. 

At Hertford Heath we use Rusty to help the children learn how to nurture and care for something. Rusty is often taken on school tours to say hello and good morning to the children. He can also sometimes be seen walking around the school with the Head or even some of the older children too. 

This academic year, as he is now old enough, we will start a 'Reading with Rusty' time.
