In September the History Off the Page company came in to teach us all about life in Ancient Greece. Mrs. Goodwin thought we looked great dressed up in our costumes.

Mr Nash brought in sumo suits during a PE session. Some children had a chance to try them out and lots of fun was had by all.

In November, Andrea from the Parrot Fish Company came in to talk to us about Hindu weddings. As part of the day we made kites and flew them in the playground.

During Maths week in February we tried lots of diferent maths activities, one of them was the Diffy Game. We drew a square and wrote a number at each corner. We put a dot half way along one side, found the difference between the two numbers at each end of the line and wrote this number beside the dot. We repeated this for each side. Then we joined the four dots to make a new square within the original square and repeated the exercise. We carried on going until we reached zero.

As part of our Ancient Greece topic we made Olympic torches using tissue paper and shiny card.
