The Year 3 gardening club have been busy sowing seeds, pricking out, potting on, planting out, weeding and watering, and now, as a result of all their hard work have started to harvest their produce. Last week they picked and ate the sweet juicy strawberries and the crunchy hot radishes. Yesterday they tasted the rhubarb, cooked and served within 10 minutes of picking! Some gave it the thumbs-up, but others were not so keen on its sour taste. I wonder if the beans and courgettes will be ready to cook with the potatoes next week?
